Shai Agassi is the founder and CEO of Better PLC, a new infrastructure creator and operator for the management of country-wide electric vehicle fleets. Better PLC works with governments, carmakers, and financial institutes creating a large scale framework for rapid transformation of transport system away from fossil based energy into non-polluting oil free solutions.
Agassi is the former President, Products and Technology Group of SAP AG. He was a member of the Executive Board of SAP AG from April 2002 through March 2007. In his last position he held responsibilities for the global development of the entire SAP product line and SAP’s portfolio of industry-specific solutions.
Agassi is a serial entrepreneur who started several companies over the years such as TopTier Software, TopManage or Quicksoft Media.
He is passionate for using technology and capital markets to solve massive social issues. He is an active member of the Young Global Leaders organization (YGL) within the World Economic Forum (WEF) where he focuses his work on topics relating to climate challenge.
