As Executive Vice President for EA Publishing in the Americas and Europe, Dr. Gerhard Florin oversees Publishing in all western world markets, with responsibility for sales, marketing and distribution of EA’s portfolio of products and services.
Prior to that, he served as Senior Vice President and Managing Director, European Publishing, a post he has held since April 2003.
Formerly, from 2001-2003, Dr. Florin served as Vice President, Managing Director for EA European countries. Dr. Florin joined EA in 1996 and was the Managing Director for German speaking countries. Prior to joining Electronic Arts, Dr. Florin held various positions at BMG, the global music division of Bertelsmann AG and worked as a consultant with McKinsey and Co.
Dr. Florin holds a PhD and Masters in Economics from the University of Augsburg, Germany.
